About me
I’m Natalie, Mother of four, wife to Phil and I am passionate about all things birth, pregnancy, and mothering.
I have worked in the NHS since 2005, with the last 14 years being in a maternity unit as a maternity support worker. In 2025 I decided to leave maternity. I completed a doula course with Nurturing birth who are accredited with DoulaUK, I am also DBS checked (enhanced) and I have public liability insurance.
I enjoy making jewellery, cold water swimming and spending time with our daughters.
I live in Hampshire and as a doula I cover Hampshire and Wiltshire for antenatal, postpartum and birth support. Having me as your doula means you have continuity of care with someone (who has had 4 babies) and has worked in the NHS maternity system.
Becoming a doula felt like a natural progression, allowing me to use my life experience from work but also being a mum. I have supported twins and parents who have babies in NICU as well as birthing people with disabilities, mental health, and additional needs.
I can reassure you, help prepare you for labour, so you have the tools, knowledge, and mindset to birth your baby feeling strong, capable, and informed. I have the experience to teach you emotional coping skills that will help you on this next chapter to help navigate the early days as a new or growing family.
Alongside being a doula, I volunteer in the NHS to help facilitate a weekly dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) group to treat adults with mood disorders. The group teaches strategies such as grounding techniques to help manage overwhelming emotions as they arise.
My role isn’t to replace your partner, friends, or family but to join your support team and help everyone work together for you to experience the most empowered birth possible.I'm here to walk alongside you as you navigate the beautiful (and sometimes challenging) journey into parenthood.
