About me

I’m Natalie a doula based in Andover, Hampshire. I cover Hampshire and Wiltshire for antenatal, postpartum and birth support.

I am a mother of four daughters and wife to Phil. I am passionate about all things birth, pregnancy, and mothering.

I have worked in the NHS since 2005, with the last 15 years being in a maternity unit as a maternity support worker.  In that role I worked alongside midwives and obstetricians on a busy labour and postnatal ward.

My role is to join your support team so you have the tools, knowledge, and mindset to birth and care for your baby feeling strong, capable, and informed.

In 2025 I decided to leave maternity to train as a doula. I did a doula course with Nurturing birth who are accredited with DoulaUK. I am DBS checked and I have public liability insurance.

Having me as your doula means you have continuity of care with someone (who has had 4 babies) and has worked in the NHS maternity system.

Alongside being a doula, I volunteer in the NHS to help facilitate a weekly dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) group to treat adults with mood disorders.

The group teaches strategies such as grounding techniques to help manage overwhelming emotions as they arise. I also occasionally work on an adult rehabilitation ward within the NHS.

With all 4 of my pregnancies I experienced hyperemesis gravidarum (HG). I feel having experienced HG myself this has equipped with the insight and empathy to support women and their families who maybe suffering with HG.

I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate the beautiful (and sometimes challenging) journey into parenthood.

I have experience with the following births:

  • VBACs

  • Elective caesareans

  • Emergency caesareans

  • Home births

  • Assisted births

  • Inductions of labour
